• Identification of key action steps needed upon arrival

• Tips to connect to the Stanford community, have fun, and take advantage of events and activities

• Information about employee programs, services, and groups who provide support to employees

• Recommended questions for new employees to ask their managers at intervals during the first year

For managers bringing a new employee on board, the site includes:

• A Manager’s Guide to Onboarding New Hires, with checklists, templates, and an array of information

• Identification of actions to take prior to the employee’s arrival and at intervals during their first year
