TOD-3507
Podcasts are engaging, efficient means for providing information
that people can access easily and then keep to hear again on
a mobile device or at their desks. If you’re interested in creating
podcasts as part of training you do (pre-session introductions,
follow-up, emphasis of key learning points), or simply to
communicate important, repeatable information, then you won’t
want to miss this class.
Instructor Judith Moss will help you design a 5- to 10-minute
podcast that’s organized in quick, audible “bites” that flow
intuitively. You’ll learn to set the context, work from a question and answer format, use subject matter experts, clarify the main points of your communication, and summarize quickly.
NOTE: This class does not address the technical aspects
of podcast preparation and delivery; for those skills, see
Podcasts: Creating Audio Podcasts at Stanford, offered
by ITS (ITS-2652).
