In 2007, President Hennessy appointed an advisory board (Demarest, Ford, Jones, Joss, Katz, Livingston, Peck, Stipek, Wachtel, Wolf and Zumwalt) to determine how Stanford might best ensure the development of our next generation of leadership talent. The Board defined a set of fifteen attributes (competencies) establishing a shared understanding of what it takes to be a leader at Stanford.

We will introduce the 15 leadership attributes allowing participants to consider their own strengths and needs in these areas; and dialogue on opportunities to apply specific behaviors on the job.
